Video Balun - CATV Baluns

The CATV baluns allow traditional 75-ohm coaxial cable to be replaced by one-pair UTP in the CATV, VHF and FM video signal. The CATV balun saves extra cost of more expensive and space-consuming coax cable and can connect RF video equipment to TV monitors shortly.

We offer F and PAL connector for 75-ohm coaxial end and connector, Toolless IDC and for 100-ohm twisted pair end.

• Bandwidth: 5MHz ~ 550MHz.
• Insert Loss: ≤ 3dB at CATV channels 2~61.
• Return Loss: ≥ 18dB at 10MHz ~ 550MHz.
• Common mode rejections: ≥ 20dB at 40MHz ~ 500MHz.
• Max. distance: 100m via cat.5e UTP cable.
• The standard single baluns come with a variety of coaxial interfaces and a RJ45 twisted pair connection
• HC-AB-MF8: Unshielded 8P4C jack to male F connector (8/+, 7/-).
• HC-AB-MP8: Unshielded RJ45 jack to male PAL connector (8/+, 7/-).
• Note: Custom configurations (such as 5+ 4- or 7+ 8-) available upon request.
