UMEC HP-953 is one power line communication product, which is compliant with international PLC standard. It provides one 10/100 Ethernet port to be used for connection to PC or its peripherals, ADSL router...etc devices. It makes use of the power lines in family or office or factory as the communication media instead of use of CAT3/5 cable as in normal LAN infrastructure. Its real data throughput up to 70Mbps depending on powering environment. Its use is to replace current complex cabling structure in some cases. This device comes with one several-meters power cord that is simply plugged into power socket.
