The PCM-5894 ultra-compact board packs all the functions of an embedded PC on a single board that fits in the space of a 5-1/4" floppy drive (only 5.75" x 8").The PCM-5894 includes a C&T 65554 video controller onboard which is a high performance LCD/CRT Windows accelerator. It supports a wide range of flat panel displays, including 36-bit TFT LCD displays. The integrated M-Systems DiskOnChip flash disk supports system boot-up and memory storage up to 72 MB. The Fast Ethernet provides a ten-fold increase in network capability and is fully compatible with traditional 10Mbps network facilities. Expanded features and capabilities of this board means that there is little need to purchase additional boards, worry about compatibility, or deal with multiple vendors.The PCM-5894 also includes four high speed serial ports (three RS-232s, one RS-232/422/485), one multi-mode (ECP/EPP/SPP) parallel port, a floppy drive controller, an Ultra DMA/33 enhanced IDE controller and a keyboard/PS/2 mouse interface.
