(1) The measured value of tolerance is based on the standard values calculated by using the international temperature scale formula. The tolerance of the thermocouple is measured using this standard value.
(2) The measurement of tolerance is based on setting the cold junction at 0°C.
(3) The tolerance, either expressed in C or %, is based on the larger value of the two.
