• Recomended charge method:
• Charge around 0.3CA (> 0.5CA may shorten cycle life) when voltage is between 3.0V and 4.2V.
• Charge at 4.2V +/- 0.05V until current < 0.01CA.
• If voltage is below 1.5V, don't charge, i.e. dispense, the battery.
• If voltage is between 1.5V and 3.0V, charge slowly, e.g. 0.01CA.
• Recomended discharge method:
• Discharge under rated current when voltage is between 4.2V and 3.0V.
• Don't discharge if voltage is below 3.0V.
• Don't discharge between rated current and max current for more than 12 seconds.

• A: We are designing the protection circuit board and charger right now. We can provide samples in June, 2004.

• Q: What's 1.5CA discharge?
• A: If the capacity is 11Ah per cell, 1.5CA = 1.5 * 11 * A = 16.5A.
