SHDSL-Digital Pair Gain System

MPG+4/8/12 is a MSDL (Multi-Rate Digital Subscriber Line) Digital Pair Gain System, conveying uncompressed PCM voice channels in it. This system provides 4/8/12 voice channels over a single twisted pair subscriber line. Without digging ground or placing cable, it immediately solves subscriber line shortage problem.
The MPG series are mainly used to meet the demand of subscribers (or potential subscribers) at those areas, where the number of subscriber lines cannot be expanded in proportion to the increase of subscribers. It applies the transmission technology of HDSL interface to provide 4/8/12 (64 Kbps) channels over a physical pair of cables.

• Conformance to the Lightning Surge Simulation, Power Induction, and Power Contact of ITU K.20, and K.21: all the system of MPG series (not only between LU and RT, but also between RT and telephone sets) got a 3-stage protect circuit to ensure the safety and stability of the system.
• On-Board Power Supply: there is and individual on-board power module on each LU to decrease the harm of power fail. If one of the power module fails, others will still work well.
• Standalone LU-BOX (option): we provide a standalone rack for individual LU instead of using a Shelf. For small volume users, who don't need Shelf, this is a flexible option for them.
• Remote Power Feeding: the power from exchange (-48/60 VDC) is transformed into 200V/250V/300VDC and fed to RT through LU Power module for MPG 4/8/12, and RT would need no extra (or local) power supply.
• Long Transmission Range (LU to RT): RT to telephone sets: with 0.4mm cable, the maximum transmission range is 2.0km.
• Self detect for DSL line open/short: to protect operators, LU will output a low voltage 20/24/28V to detect if the line is open/short (could be under installation). So LU will not output high voltage (200 ~ 300V) to RT through DSL until system is set up completely.
• NMS function (option): the system could monitor the status of Hook, Link, Alarm, and Telephone set, and controlled the functions of Bypass, Alarm, Telephone Test, and through a RS-485 port on PC. The NMS software is supported by Windows.
• Bypass function: when the equipment fails, the equipment will keep CH1 of LU and CH1 of RT connection automatically. With this, the connection will bypass the system and keep the original connection (one CH) work.
• Well Designed RT box: RT Box could be installed easily without any special tools. RT Box is very well designed for water resistance, collision protection, Anti-UV, and Anti-bugs.
• Large housing for LU: each Shelf can accommodate 12 slots of LU or 11 slots of LU plus one AU.
• On-Hook output voltage (from RT) >= 45Vdc.
• MPG series output 20 or 25 Hz sinusoidal wave for ringing singnal, which is similar to the output of switching system.
• Support CLIP (Caller ID).
• Repeater is available to extend the transmission distance.
