Ceramic Ferrule
Ceramic Ferrules and Ferrule assemblies are use for Fiber Optic Connectors or other applications. The outer diameter (OD) Ferrule size for ST, FC and SC connectors are Ø2.5mm. The OD Ferrule size for the MU and LC Connector Versions are Ø1.25mm.
The OD Ferrules size is precise with a tolerance level of ±0.0005mm. The inner diameter (ID) Ferrules size has a precision of 0.001mm in concentricity and 0.0005mm in eccentricity for the singlemode ferrules used for optical communication components.
The OD Ferrules size is precise with a tolerance level of ±0.001mm. The inner diameter (ID) Ferrules size has a precision of 0.003mm in concentricity and 0.004mm in eccentricity for the multimode ferrules used for LAN and/or SAN Applications.
A wide variety of IDs and tolerance is available. Pre-domed and Pre-angled end face configurations assure fast polish and lowest back reflection.
