Polyester Film Capacitor (Radial, PEN)

PEN are non-inductively wound using a polyester dielectric with aluminum foil electrodes, radial leads and a moisture resistant epoxy resin coating.

Specifications:

• Dielectric strength: 250 % of the rated voltage for 1-5 sec.
• Dissipation Factor: 0.8% max at 1 KHz 25°C
• Insulation Resistance:
• I.R. ≥30,000 Μ Ω (C ≤0.33 μF)
• I.R. ≥10,000 Μ Ω / C (C >0.33 μF)
  
• Applications:
• PEN are widely used in low frequency circuit (below 10KHz) applications such as television sets, audio products, computer monitors, telephone sets, electronic ballasts, etc.
