The MET is non-inductively wound using a metallized polyester film dielectric/electrode with axial leads and wrapped in flame-retardant tape and sealed with a moisture resistant epoxy resin at both ends.
- Dielectric strength: 175% of the rated voltage for 1-5 sec.
- Dissipation Factor: 0.8% max at 1KHz 25°C
- Insulation Resistance:
- I.R. ≥15,000 Μ Ω (C ≤0.33 μF)
- I.R. ≥5,000 Μ Ω / C (C >0.33 μF)
- Applications:
- Widely used in critical coupling, bypass,blocking and low frequency tuned circuits for communication and industrial uses.
- Suitable for charge/discharge, low voltage power, and spark killer circuits
- Self-healing properties and high reliability
- Available in tape and reel packaging for auto insertion.
