General Purpose LCD Driver IC
PT6579 is an LCD driver IC utilizing CMOS technology. The PT6579 provides displays with both 1/3 duty and 1/4 duty with 1/2 and 1/3 bias driving capability. The built-in RC oscillator reduces external components, and the programmable PWM signal output pins for direct control of LED removes the need for an extra PWM IC. Pin assignments and application circuits have been optimized for easy PCB layout and also provide cost saving advantages. The PT6579 is applicable to all devices with LCD displays.
