Electronic On/Off Dimming Ballast Controller IC
The PT5622 is a specialized Electronic Ballast Controller IC which supports a broad array of general switch dimming products. The PT5622 is the first multi-dimmer IC in the market that provides selectable 3-way, 2-way, dim-to-bright, or bright-to-dim operation. The PT5622 implements closed-loop negative current feedback control and includes programmable preheat time and preheat frequency functionality. The PT5622 also possesses low start-up current and accurate oscillation frequency. The PT5622 is packaged in either DIP-16 or SOP-16.
