Wireless products are extensively used in communications and home entertainment. Therefore, PTC, in 2005, acquired the radio frequency (RF) business unit of HiMARK Technology Inc. for its RF technology, thus increasing our competitiveness and providing our customers total solutions. In the last few years, the market for car electronics has grown rapidly. In line with PTC's growth strategy, we have been working to extend our product line, allocating considerable resources to the development of automobile electronics while also moving into the SoC field. In December 2006, PTC was awarded the ISO/TS16949 certification, which is an important mark of quality in the automobile electronics market. PTC anticipates that, over time, its expansion into these new product areas will achieve dramatic revenue growth.
