Combo Hard Drive’s 1394 interface allows you the option of connecting the drive to your 1394 port. This will allow you to transfer up to the 400Mbits/sec. If you have option of using USB 1.1 port or 1394 port, use the latter because 1394 port will transfer data at a much faster rate than USB 1.1.
