Chemical Blowing Agent

The product will decompose and obtain useful quantities of gas between 140 Celsius and 150 Celsius in an EVA copolymer/rubber compounds. The decomposed gases contain nitrogen, ammonia, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide and formaldehyde. The product will aid efficiently in "kicking off" the blowing agent without any kind off kickers. Storage stability: SLB-EV has excellent storage stability under normal temperature and conditions. However, it will be more stable for SLB-EV to store in a cool, dry place away from hot steam pipe, free flame, direct sunlight, sparks, organic acids, inorganic acids and other sources of heat. Handling precautions: good ventilation of handling and mixing area is recommended. Inhalation of dust, prolong skin contact and ingestion should be avoided. Smoking should not be allowed in the SLB-EV storage area or in the place of handling. Flammability: SLB-EV is flammable solid that will continue to burn once ignited and intense heat will be given off. Fire fighting should be contacted with water in copious quantities. Do not attempt manual fire fighting. SLB-EV is broadly used blowing agents for general-purpose compression molding of EVA copolymers, EVA and PE blending resin, polyethylene and rubbers. This provides fine and uniform cell structures, and have particular ability to produce white cellular products. Main uses are in footwear industries, particularly light weight Hawaii slippers, sole for chapels and other footwear with leather upper, mid-soles, wedge heels, insoles etc. Lower processing temperature will recommendable for this product to protect from the premature blowing. The recommended maximum temperature while mixing agent and DCP is 100 Celsius
