Anti - Corrosive Primer Coatings ( A / C )
In construction projects which require enormous outlays in investment such as petrochemical plants, power plants (hydroelectric, thermoelectric, nuclear), bridges and oil storage tanks, corrosion prevention of the key facilities and long-term maintenance are essential. In addition to completing technical tie-ups with leading international paint corporations and aggressively introducing advanced technologies, Samhwa Paints has developed a special painting system with in-house technology as producing a number of superior heat resistant, soundproofing and dust proofing paint products. The paint used on marine vessels and containers is subjected to moisture, strong ultraviolet rays, the heat of the tropics and the cold of the polar regions. Exposure to these harsh marine conditions demands special paints to protect ships and their cargoes. Beginning with a technical tie-up with United States-based American Inc. from 1982 to 1989, Samhwa Paints has supplied domestic shipbuilding and heavy industrial companies with paints which can stand up to these conditions. With the establishment of Chugoku-Samhwa Paints, a joint venture with Japan-based Chugoku Marine Paints, the company is now aggressively working to penetrate markets around the world.
