This is because Tong Yung designs each and every valve, makes its own patterns and castings, machines and assembles, and caries out the necessary controls throughout all stages of production, from raw material to valve shipment. High quality material and workmanship combined with years of research and development, is your assurance of a dependable, uniform product. Foundry: Tong Yung manufactures all its castings for valves. The quality of any valve begins at the foundry. The chemical compositions are routinely checked by the vacuum emission spectrometer and heat number controls are done by preparing y-block for the chemical compositions and physical properties per each charge. Manufacturing: Tong Yung valves are designed in accordance with the requirements of the American national standards institute, the American petroleum institute, and other applicable codes and standards. Dimensions and clearances are held exactly to the specifications and wall thick-ness is greater than the minimum standards. All these are achieved through our quality workmanship and dependable equipment. Quality control: chemical analysis, mechanical and hydropneumatic tests, and nondestructive tests such radiographic, magnetic and ultrasonic tests, are all part of our continuous quality control process. All Tong Yung products are manufactured under our quality assurance program which includes the following. Design controls; document control; welding procedures; inspections and tests: pouring, heat treatment, machining, physical properties, chemical analysis, hydro test, and cryogenic test.
