Water Penetration Tester

Water penetration tester tests water penetration of waterproof material by a raising cup.

To determine the water-tolerant of waterproof textile, the tester has high and low pressure testing methods.

This tester is aim to test the water permeability-resistance degree for Water-Resistance fiber (or other material), uses pneumatic grip to speed up the testing time.
There are three kinds of Test method for thie testing machine:

a. Water pressure method: Put dry specimen to cover on water surface.
Then record the water level (cm) at once after the specimen occurred 3 places permeated by water on its surface.

b. Certain water pressure method: Put dry specimen to cover on water surface. Use 1cm/sec speed to raise water level up to a certain level, then record the time (sec) at once after the specimen surface occurred 3 places permeated.

c. Water leakage: operation method same as water pressure. Just stop water level rising immediately when water lever rising up to a certain position (10cm), to test the water leakage capacity within 1 certain time.

The precision test equipment evaluates material test and provide reliable data.
