The DCS is a neat and compact field terminal with two serial communication interfaces. Its keyboard port is IBM PC compatible and the RS-232 can link peripheral like bar-code scanner or others supporting RS-232. LCD with 16x2 character screen shows the message or data from whichever the input sources. In the meantime, data will head for host PC via RS-485 communication line.
