The TCP/IP Gateway is a stand-alone programmable controller between TCP/IP interface and RS-485/RS-232 interface. With TCP/IP Gateway, one can download application programs from a host computer via Ethernet and control field devices directly. It will perform the same field operations as a PC yet without the cost and space of a PC. It therefore streamlines control architecture in a variety of applications.
