Through RS-232 or RS-485, the LED module can display message from PC or devices the like. Its 16x16 dot-matrix-pixel can show Chinese as well as English characters. On board EPROM stores 13,000 Chinese characters and the battery backup SRAM can hold 5,000 Chinese or 10,000 alphanumeric characters for display. Six display scrolling styles are available.
