The CheetahSwitch Ethernet Switches for workgroups dramatically increase the bandwidth of a 10Mbps Ethernet network and provide dual links to 100Mbps Fast Ethernet all with conventional cabling and adapters. They deliver dedicated 10Mbps links to easy attached LAN segment (independent collision domain) or power users. This makes them ideal for increasing the throughput of interconnected Ethernet hubs or front-end file servers. Moreover, these units are easy to install, maintain and upgrade.

• Provides 8 (16) independent (10Mbps) Ethernet switch ports, as well as two Fast Ethernet Switch ports for unlinking.
• Allows concurrent operation for up to 10 (18) Ethernet segments.
• All ports support half-duplex and full-duplex transmission modes.
• Fast Ethernet ports use autonegotiation to set speed and mode.
• Increased bandwidth up to 280 (360) Mbps.
• One 10Mbps and Fast Ethernet port can be cascaded to a hub or switch using straight-through cable.
• LED indicators monitor network activity, collisions and link status.
