Estabished in 1987, till now Powerway Group has four manufacturing-type subsidiary companies: Ningbo Powerway Nonferrous Alloy Bar Co.,Ltd, Ningbo Powerway Nonferrous Alloy Wire Co.,Ltd, Ningbo Powermetal Industry Co.,Ltd and Ningbo Power Materialize Co.,Ltd and has eight sales branches in Hongkong, Shanghai,Xiamen, Shenzhen, Wenzhou, Kunshan. Now Powerway Group owns a total asset about up to RMB 1.5 billion. She has about 1600 staff, among them there are 400 various technicians. Her annual capacity reaches to 80000tons. Powerway Group is the first Chinese member in IWCC .
The company products include hundreds of types of wire, bar brazing material and wire cut products with different sections ranging from 0.1mm-80mm, in eight major series. The major series cover free cutting brass, ordinary brass, bronze, cupronickel, chromium zirconium copper, glasses material, brazing materials, and wire-cut products. Powerway, devoted to innovations in alloyed metal, has successively developed new products at the State-level on leaded brass and nickel-free white brass. The company products universally observe most advanced international technical standards in production, ensuring their performance and precision reach or exceed the international standards.
The company has many sets of modernized specialized production and checkout equipment of high accuracy, quality and efficiency. They include mainly various series of level successive casting machines, 2500-ton extrusion machines and strong convection annealing machines, introduced from Britain; wire cut machines from Italy, large-scale drawing machines, double-roller straightening machines and full-automatic abnormal material rolling machines from Germany; testing equipment like full-scale plasma spectrometer (ICP), metallographic analyzer, spark-reading spectrocomparator, and all-purpose experiment machines, from America.
The company strictly observes its quality control policy. It passed 2000 editions of ISO9001 quality management system authentication set forth by British SGS Company in 2001, and implemented ERP system management in an all-round way in 2003. At present, Poway provides many international customers with alloy products which complies to Rohs Directives(Including RoHs exclusive directives),at the same time, we concentrate on R&D of products which complies to higher requirements over the environment protection. In 2005,Poway got a series of international patent over the Lead Free Brass. The products can meet the requirement of EU'S RoHs directives and Japan's environment protection.
