The Tiagra 12 was designed for light line fishing. The gradual drag curve, along with a single drag configuration are optimized for 12 pound test, allowing the angler to quickly back off the drag pressure on a running fish without accidentally dropping into freespool.
Machined aluminum frame and sideplates, forged aluminum spool, lever drag, 2-speed gearing and clicker.
