- The ZipPAD series can be connected to any PSDN, PPSN or ISDN. The ZipPAD series can function as either a DTE or a DCE, which allows the terminals using the ZipPAD to be connected back-to-back directly as well as through a PSDN, PSTN or ISDN.

- The ZipPAD series, with its "extended PAD management functions and system commands" can be entirely configured from any local or remote asynchronous terminal, through leased or dial-up line. These enhanced functions make your ZipPAD more manageable and ease to control. The extended PAD management functions and system commands can only be accessed by a password-authorized terminal.
