DCR-2300 allows user to have the following applications: Near Video-on-Demand, Pay Per View, Digital Audio Broadcasting, Data Over Cable Service and Distance Learning over CATV network. DCR-2300 is compatible with analog system and there is no need of any changes in the MSOs network. With encryption function, DSR-2300 allows service providers to manage the user authentication and billing system.
