Bulk Hot Water Meters
The WSM-H and WSM-K hot water meters are Woltmann vertical impeller type water meters, for installation in horizontal pipes. A magnetic drive tried and proven in many thousands of water meters between the measuring element and register reduces the number of working parts in contact with the water. This ensures that there is little possibility of any build up of scale deposits. The register is situated in a dry enclosure and is fitted with a six figure roller bank totaliser, a long central pointer and shorter pointer for calibration and precise reading. The stainless, corrosion and heat resistant components guarantee excellent measuring properties, reliability and a long service life. WAM-H and WSM-K hot water meters can be used as the flow measuring component of heat meters, impulse generators and other accessories, when used purely as flow integrating meters they can be supplied with a glass cover and hinged metal lid. The measuring elements of the WSM-H and WSM-K hot water meters are removable for maintenance or repair.
- The WSM-H has a continuous maximum working temperature of 130 Celsius peak 150 Celsius.
- The WSM-K has a continuous maximum working temperature of 180 Celsius peak 200 Celsius.
- Flange drillings to BS 4504 NP16, NP25, NP40, AN40, AN31 B16 1/5 Table 125, Table 250, other drilling on request.
