RTV-9008 is a two components silicone elastomer, vulcanizing at room temperature by a polycondensation reaction. Featuring: good flow, high tear resistance, great extensibility and elasticity, excellent delicate angle duplication & long life mold excellent long-term stability of the mechanical properties of the vulcanite outstanding resistance to common resins. Molds of membranes made from RTV-9008 are used for manufacture in series of pieces on filled polyester, plaster, natural or synthetic cement (reconstituted stone), polyurethane foam with integrated skin, with special applications in the following fields: art and decoration: molding of sculptures or statuettes, furnishing: casting of furniture and decorations, building: prefabrication of decorative features.

- After adding silicone oil, then add 20 c.c. (2%) catalyst per each kg elastomer; RTV-9008 can be adjusted of required hardness of mold by adding silicone oil (10 - 30%)
- Operating ration reference: for big size casing mold add silicone oil (350cps) 10 - 15%, for middle size mold 15 - 25%, for small size mold 20 - 30%
- Storage:
- Sun RTV-9008 and catalyst A-4 must be used with 6 months of the delivery date. In order to ensure optimum performance of Sun RTV-9008 and catalyst A-4, the following conditions should be observed: store the product in their original unopened contains at a temperature below 30Celsius, use the product as soon as the container has been opened.

- RTV-9008 is packaged in a) 200kg, 25kg with pail, b) 20kg, 1kg with PE cartridge.
- Catalyst A-4 is packaged in 600g with PE bottle, 10 bottles/ctn.
