The GM-040 series modules are used for those circuits which required to have BCD data decoded and displayed on L.C.D. The GM-040D / DA provide separate digit select inputs to accept multiplexed BCD input. The GM-040M / MA provide data and digit select code input latches controlled by chip select inputs to provide a direct high speed processor interface. The module will provide two different decoder configurations. The GM-040D and GM-040M will decoder the four bit binary inputs into a 7-segment alphanumeric hexadecimal output. (refer to table 1) The GM-040DA and GM-040MA will provide the "Code B" output code, i.e., 0-9, dash, E, H, L, P, blank. (refer to Table 3)
