The Particle Image Analyzer is a cost effective and easy to use system for measuring both particle shape and size distribution using optical microscopy. Particles are dispersed on a microscope slide and their image is captured using a CCD camera attached to the microscope. The resultant image is analysed automatically to calculate the particle's shape parameters and size distribution. The analysis reports include: Particle size distribution table & graph, average diameter, median diameter, boundary diameter, Specific surface area and some others.
