Single Acting Hydraulic Cylinders:
In these types of cylinders, the oil pressure is fed only on one side of the cylinder either during extension or retraction. When the oil pressure is cut-off, these cylinders return to the normal position either by a spring or by an external load.
- TYPE: Single Acting, Ram Type, Double Bearing, Ram Sealed.
- Bore sizes: from 25mm to 250mm and strokes up to 3000mm for single stage applications, with multistage applications available on request.
- Cylinder tube: Honed Tubing or Or barrel material can be selected on the basis of application& working pressure.
- Piston rod: High strength steel piston rod is precision ground and hard chrome plated and reg rinded to ensure anti-corrosion and maximum seal life. Normally the rod material is CK45.
- Seals: Parker or Hallite Non-metallic multi-"V" type supported with machined metal top and bottom adapters and with "O" type pressure ring. Seal material may vary to suit hydraulic fluid.
- Wiper Ring: Non-metallic with metal retainer ring.
- Working pressure: To suit application, the max pressure can up to 35Mpa(4200Psi)
- Test Pressure: working pressurex1.5
- Standard Finish-Machinery enamel over a primer coat. Other finishes available depending upon specification. Current finishes carried out are:
(1) Single and Two pack acrylics / Various Electroplating techniques
(2) Hot metal spray (for very corrosive environments)
(3) Cylinder mounting styles / Clevis / Trunnion / Flange / Side Foot / Spherical Bearings - Special Features: Internal non-rotating devices or guides available.
- Packing: steel box
Double acting tie rod cylinders:
These are operated by applying oil pressure to the cylinder in both directions. Due to inherent mechanical problems associated with the spring, single acting cylinders with spring return are not used in applications using larger stroke lengths. They may be either single rod ended or double rod ended type. Double-acting, double-ported welded tie rods are perfect for industrial, agricultural and contractor applications.
- Bore sizes: from 25mm to 250mm and strokes up to 3000mm

(5) Telescopic Cylinder Double Acting
Telescopic Cylinder Double Acting:
These cylinders provide long working strokes in a short retracted envelope and are used in mobile applications such as tilting of truck dump bodies and fork lift trucks, hydraulic cranes etc.
- Tube: precision skied and burnished or honed tube stages. Or barrel material can be selected on the basis of application& working pressure
- Piston Rod: High strength steel piston rod is precision ground and hard chrome plated and regrind ed to ensure anti-corrosion and maximum seal life. Normally the rod material is CK45.
- Piston: Cast Iron
- Cylinder Base: One end of the cylinder is precision bolted in case of low pressure cylinders, but in case of high pressure cylinders the Base is threaded & then welding with utmost accuracy & precision.
- Mounting: All mounts are of steel.
- Bore Size: 25mm to 250 mm
- Stroke: up to 3000mm
