PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) has outstanding chemical resistance, and retains this property over many years of service. Standard fabrication techniques include hot air welding. For these reasons it is used extensively in corrosion resistant applications, such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries. Other key features include:
*FDA/USDA/NSF COMPLIANT
*Resistant to UV and Gamma radiation
*Moisture resistant. Will not swell.
*Non-flammable and self extinguishing. UL 94 V-0.
*Continuous operating temperature of 285 degrees F.
