Control and protective switching //Switch device is a new product of low voltage devices. As a new product class, its classified code is 'CPS', which is the abbreviation of Control and Protective Switching Device.
CPS is in accordance with IEC60947-6-2(1997)Low Voltage Switching Devices and Control Devices, Part 6, Multifunctional Devices, Section 2 Control and Protective Switching Device) and GB14048. 9-1998 (Low Voltage Switching Devices and Control Devices, Multifunctional Devices: Control and Protective Switching Device), which equals to the IEC60947-6-2.
Codes and electric symbols designated by IEC standard as well as national standard are indicated in the figure.
Main characteristics of CPS: It realizes integration, internal coordinated control and protective function on basis of product with single structure, which can replace many traditional discrete components such as breaker, contactor, overload protective rely, starter, isolator and so on.
KB0 is the CPS product of first generation what fills the domestic blank.
