Founded in 1983, Light-Wave started out as an exporter of plumbing products. We need a lot of tools for producing different types of pipe fittings. Thus we have accumulated more than 20 years of experience in making pipe fitting tools. We have made a lot of molds for tees and T-strainers with one hydraulic motor to drill four sides of unscrewed cores and one hydraulic cylinder to drive gears for rotated cores for blended elbow tools.
We use fully hardened stainless steels to make PVC tools and fully hardened H-13 for PP plus glass fiber tools. We always make steel safe on the threads before T1. We adjust according to the thread cores after T1 to bring the NPT and BSP pipe threads to be in the tolerance range of plus/minus one. We don’t need to weld thread for the adjustment.
We have a lot of tools that are equipped with interchangeable inserts for similar items to save tooling cost. Some tools are capable of running more than 20 items. We can design tools to interchange the inserts from press and even the ejectors to save your time for changing the inserts.
