The suspension ball joint is the connection and the support between front axle suspension arm and axle body. It receives forces from all directions. The ball joint should move freely, with low resistance, should be maintenance free and noise insulating. The sealing boot, filled with a special grease, prevents the entry of dirty and water. A simpler ball joint is sufficient if no transmission of resilient forces in upwards direction is necessary, as only lateral and longitudinal forces prevail.
