• There are two types - swivel type and rigid type.


• Ring hangers (swivel type) consist of a movable decorative ring-shaped section attached to a screw-threaded base. Also known as "swivel hangers" the ring section of these hangers only pivot front-to-back (they do not swivel 360° around the screw).


• These small decorative hangers are most often used to suspend small picture frames or art objects either from a picture hook on the wall or from a cup hook or similar hook attached to the underside of a shelf, overhang or the like.
