Ron Howden
Born at an early age i started my musical career at 16, playing "tea chest" bass in a skiffle group. Later I promoted myself to washboard and finally drums. At this time I had one ride cymbal, Hi-Hat, snare drum and a 28" parade drum. At 18 I bought my first full kit. Played in clubs and U.S. clubs in Europe.Did shows with :Platters....Everly Bros...Ink Spots and many others who i probably forgot about (it was a long time ago)
In 1965 met "Mo" Moore in France. Carried on to play in trios, quartets, big bands.
In 1968 met "Taff" Freeman and at the end of 1969 joined up with Roye Albrighton and Mick Brockett to form "Nektar"
