Cloisonne, a famous tradition enamelware, known "copper-body and wire-inlaid enamel", has a long history of over 500 years in China. There is a great variety of Cloisonne Wares, such as vases, jars, bowls, plates, ash-trays, and pieces in sets and so on. All the products are beautiful and elegant in molding, brilliant and dazzling in colors and splendid and graceful in design. It is famous local handicraft in Beijing region.
The manufacture of Cloisonne Ware requires for rather elaborate and complicated processes in nature, namely: base hammering, copper-wire curving, soldering, enamel-filling, enamel-firing, polishing, gilding, etc. The products are characterized by excellent quality. The meticulous and skillful workmanship was formed and has been handed down from Ming Dynasty and developed over since. A great numbers of new varieties were created distributed and enjoy a high reputation at home and abroad.
