Dual - Technology Sensor
Only dual-technology detectors, which use microwave and infrared technologies for cross-checking can reliably improve detection range without generating mote false alarms. Normal single-technology detectors cannot be highly sensitive and reliable at the same time. Increasing detection range by raising the sensitivity generally leads to more false alarms. The ASFE intrusion detector integrates a state-of-the-art micro-strip dielectric resonant oscillator (DRO) Doppler sensor and a high performance passive infrared (PIR) sensor to give you unbeatable performance. And power consumption is amazingly low-12mA!
