Diesel Engine Controller

This controller has been developed for small generating sets with diesel engines, working in island, alternatively stand-by operation. It is also possibly to apply it for some of gas engines with this kind of operation. Operation modes can directly be chosen on panel and stage of set checked thanks visual signaling. Whole conception of this controller is subordinate to maximum simplicity as operating, as connected circuits out of controller, with preservation of all basic functions needed for these sets.
- Feeding 9 ~ 18V, rated 12V, maximum 200mA
- Crank speed 20 ~ 40%, over-speed 105 ~ 120%, nominal frequency 50 alternatively 60Hz.
- Generator voltage 200 ~ 250V
- Entire start delay period 1 ~ 10 sec., power return - change over 20 ~ 250 sec.
- Change over - stop engine 20 ~ 250 sec.
- Cranking period 5 ~ 15 sec., rest period 5 ~ 15 sec., 2 starts altogether.
- Protecting period for failure inputs 5 ~ 50 sec.
- Output contacts 250VAC, 8Amp. (AC1) separation from other circuits checked by 4kV.
- Island:
- Gen / start: Start of genset and connect to loading.
- Aut / stop: Disconnection from loading and after cooling stop.
- Test: Start genset without loading connection.
- External contact: After closure, the start is initiated and connected to load after disconnection, genset is unloaded and after cooling stopped.
- Stand - by:
- GEN: Start of genset, main is disconnected and generator is connected to load, after abort mode (AUT) generator is disconnected, network is connected and after cooling stopped.
- AUT: automatic backup system responsive to responsive exterior contact of network failure, automatically starts and genset and controls circuit-breakers of network and generator.
- Test: Start of genset without loading connection, after network failure directly switch over on generator.
- The genset is stand off operation at OFF controller and the circuit-breaker of network is continuously closed.
