Applications
ALT－GM 115, a white, free-flowing hygroscopic powder, is very effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas species. It acts synergistically with other preservatives. With parabens, it provides a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeast, and mold. This activity has made the ALT－GM 115-paraben combination one of the most widely used cosmetic preservative systems in the world.
Effective antibacterial preservative for use in a wide range of liquid and powder type cosmetic products.
Very soluble in water; it can be incorporated successfully into cold mix formulations.
Can be used in a wide pH range (3.0-9.0).
Compatible with most cosmetic ingredients, including surfactants, proteins, and other special ingredients.
