During exthermic welding process operation, the reaction chamber and welding cavity temperature reached about 2500 °C and 1200 °C .The material of the mould is graphite. The life of each mold design on average of 50 times, but the correct use and maintenance would extend the moulds life. Previous empirical data, the correct use and maintenance of die life can be extended to 100 times.
