Shenglong Integral Blade Stabilizers are manufactured from single bar of AISI series 4145 H professionally-forged steel. The blades are formed by a spiral milling operation that removes the metal between the blades, thus leaving the blades as an “integral” part of the tool, and are spiraled to give maximum continuous wall contact and to minimize rotating torque and damage to the wall of the hole.

Hardbanding of stabilizers employ "pressed in" Tungsten Carbide alloy buttons. Strict ultrasonic inspections have been applied to all stabilizers to guarantee high quality.
