Pearlized film is made with foam additive which lowers the specific gravity of the film from 0.91 to 0.65. The appearance of pearlized film is similar to that of silk. Because of the prettiness, it is widely applied to the packaging of candy, food soap, sanitary pad, and so on. It is both-side heat-sealable and possesses good printability. Anti-static pearlized film is also available.
