A 79% nickel-iron alloy possessing very high permeability at low field strengths with low coercivity and low losses. Has been used for high accuracy current transformers and magnetic shielding for oscilloscopes, computer terminals, video projectors, medical diagnostic equipment, automotive instrumentation and telecommunications cables.
