Rapid Transfer Port (RTP)
Rapid Transfer Port also called RTP, is a double-door system, containing Geevos transfer technology.
This system consists of two basic parts, active part and passive part. The active part is normally mounted on the chamber of Isolator or glovebox. The passive part is mobile and connected to a container, bag or other process component.
When the two assemblies are mated, sterile or hazardous materials can be transferred in and out of the under the control environment without be destroyed, while maintaining the safety of the operators.
RTP is often used for material transfer in or out and removal of solid waste from the chambers.
