Although the U-joints and yokes are required for operation however, the safety chains as well as the shield are vital components in the PTO shaft to ensure you are secure during operation.
Internal Yoke: There are two located on both sides of the PTO shaft: implement and tractor. It is joined at the end of the drive.
Universal Joint- There are two joints at both ends of the PTO shaft.
External Yoke- There is a second on both sides of the PTO shaft. Its got a "Y"
