PTFE sheets can be made either by skiving or by moulding. Skived sheets are usually made for thickness of 0.1mm to 6mm, while moulding is employed for higher thicknesses.
PTFE sheets find numerous applications in load bearings, insulation, sliding supports and wear plates. They come in a variety of grades including bronze filled, glass filled and carbon filled. Specialised blends can also be made and pigmented as required.
