Application:
The rotary dryer is mainly used in the fields of building materials, mineral processing, metallurgy, chemical industry, etc., it can be used to dry materials with specified moisture and size.
Working Principle:
Wet material from the belt conveyor feed into the dryer through the end of the pipeline, whose slope is larger more than the natural inclination of material, in order to smooth the material into the dryer. The dryer cylinder is a rotating machine, slightly inclining to horizontal line. Material from the higher end has a countercurrent contact with heat carrier from the low-end, also heat carrier and material can together flow into the cylinder. With the rotation of cylinder, material by gravity moves to the lower end. In the process of moving forward, wet materials are heated directly by heat carrier, then dried and sent out by belt or screw conveyor through delivery end.
