Ethernet Modem
Ethernet Modem Description
Ethernet fiber optical modem is the device which to modulate a N×64K Ethernet data signal directly over single- or multi-mode optic fiber for a transmission via optic cable line. At another end of the optic cable, optical signal is demodulated into an E1 data signal. E1 interface may be directly connected with the E1 interfaces of image and data terminals or the WAN ports of MUX, exchanger and router for a dedicated network setup or a LAN connection.
Ethernet Fiber Modem provides 64K~2M bandwidth data transmission channel for Ethernet over fiber optic cable, it is suitable for many situations, such as LAN expansion, networks isolation, WAN access, it can connect Ethernet to telecom transmission network, special network or WAN.
Features of Ethernet fiber optic modem
* Ethernet fiber optical modem can be connected with E1 optical modem, V.35 optical modem and FE1/10BaseT protocol converter
* Realize E1 signal transmitting over fiber in transparent and multi-frame mode, and wideband is 64Kbps~2048Kbps
* Any frame number can be set up at random during transmit in multi-frame mode
* Support Ethernet auto-sensed and full/half duplex function
* Support MDI/MDI-X auto-sensed
* Enable to manage and supervise working in Internet system as well as the situation of the device settings
