The all new Spark Genius 710 2013 Mountain Bike features a totally re-designed frame optimized for 27.5" (650b) wheels. The HMF carbon frame is offered in 150mm travel and high end component spec. This is THE ultimate Trail bike. Scotts patented Twin Loc technology now offers simultaneous control of rear shock travel and fork lockout. Dual Air Spring is the system used by SCOTT to attain two unique spring curves for TwinLoc and LTD (Lock-Trail-Descend) equipped bikes. Either a single air chamber or a combination of the two chambers allows for two unique geometry and travel modes within TwinLoc. The Genius features a tapered head tube for increased stiffness, safety, confidence, and control. Scott has saved even more weight by eliminating bulky brake hardware for mounting the rear caliper and integrated a direct post mount to the chain stay.
